Great piece, Eddie. I like the warmth in the skin tones. I think the woman's hair in the forground shouldn't have such a hard edge. It doesn't quite read as hair. But overall this piece is really dope.
My Work deals with social distance. My photo-realistic oil and watercolor paintings of scenes take place in public transportation, which represents a microcosm of my society. In these environments, large numbers of people are avoiding each other in a confined space. My basic philosophy is that life is all about relationships. This series is a translation of my observations of people trying to refrain from eye contact, burying themselves in a book, shutting people out through their I Pods, and trying to keep a safe distance from their neighbors.
